Saddle Up For HOPALONG ANDREW At Jewish Museum

NYC's own urban cowboy Hopalong Andrew is saddling up for a not to be missed, all-ages Earth Day performance at The Jewish Museum on April 22, 2018.

Hopalong Andrew sings energetic and interactive cowboy songs about city life performed in the great tradition of the American West. He pays homage to the singing cowboys of yesteryear with western songs set on the streets of the New York. If you're a city dweller who loves the cowboy life, or country folk who love visiting the city, his music is for your posse.

Former NYC Park Ranger Hopalong Andrew will share tunes such as "The Yodeling Ranger of Central Park," "Outside" (to the tune of Rawhide,) and many other golden melodies that will have you swinging your partner in celebration of nature. Highlights for the upcoming show will include Hopalong lassoing a taxi on stage and a performance of the William Tell Overture on harmonica while he flatfoot dances and swings a lasso loop!

Hopalong Andrew's debut album, Howdy Do - Songs of the Urban Cowpoke comes out in September of 2018, you can have an early listen here.

Hopalong Andrew is a fixture of the New York City family music scene with his successful weekly classes and regularly appears at curated events such as Summerstage NYC, Bryant Park, Hudson River Park, The Oldtone Roots Music Festival, The Brooklyn Public Library, and more. Hopalong Andrew has received press from Time Out, ABC, CBS, and praise from the parenting blogosphere.
