Stella Starsky and Quinn Cox take to the stage at the Zipper Factory for one night only.

STARSKY And COX TROLL THE ANCIENT YULE is a holiday musical-comedy celebration that chronicles Starsky and Cox's magical real life as modish metaphysicians who were raised by age-old mystical families, the antithesis of those whom conspiracy theorists suspect rule the world today (and they'd be half right).

The statuesque Starsky and her compressed consort Cox belt out songs, amid witty, mind-bending patter, in a signature sophisticated style that is at turns folky, loungey, punky and scroungey. The show features impresario performance artist/pianist Billy Hough (Scream Along with Billy), bassist Susan Goldberg, drummer Paul Hough, and singers-guitarists Jon Fried + Deena Shoshkes of the Cucumbers. Curtain time is 8 PM; the Zipper Factory is located at 336 West 37th Street (between 8th and 9th Avenues); tickets are $25 and may be purchased by calling 212.352.3101 or at www.thezipperfactory.com.

In the light of day, Starsky and Cox are authors and stargazing lifestylists, touted purveyors of 'cosmic chic' who divine a link between sublime celestial forces and an earthy elegant design for living. Starsky + Cox's breakout book, Sextrology, The Astrology of Sex and the Sexes, (HarperCollins) reinvented the genre. In it, Starsky + Cox first revealed their unique philosophy that ties personality, appearance and desire to the stars. Instantly embraced by tastemakers and art, entertainment and fashion insiders, Starsky + Cox demonstrated that mystical musings have a home in designer display windows; and having sold hundreds of thousands of copies of the book, in fifteen international editions and counting, the duo continue to resound with an ever-growing audience, worldwide. Their second book - a starry survey of relationships- is due out in 2009 from Crown/Random House in both the U.S. and UK. As comic as they are cosmic, Starsky + Cox infuse their content with doses of disarming humor. With film and Broadway credits between them, the pair have mounted various live shows to deliver their culturally satirical, searingly funny, and ever-mystical message.

As consultants, Starsky + Cox avail themselves of an exclusive clientele, and have staged both private and public Cosmic Clinics in league with fashionable venues like Marc Jacobs, Barneys New York, Louis Boston, Harvey Nichols and Selfridges in the UK, and Colette in Paris. Touted by top international publications, the authors have also contributed columns to magazines and websites, including Conde Nast's Allure and Paris Vogue and Style.com. The couple have appeared on radio and television broadcasts, lending expert insight into relationships, in particular.

Starsky + Cox recently launched a collection of fine jewelry under the label AsterCast. These cosmic baubles met with phenomenal press coverage, in both American and British Vogue, InStyle, and The New York Times Magazine, and retail success at select stores in the U.S., U.K. and Europe. Key styles in the collection are customizable, allowing the wearer to personalize pieces based on their own astrological data. More individually tailored product are in works as Starsky + Cox envisage their ever-unfolding lifestyle brand encompassing books, jewelry, fashion, accessories, stationery, furnishings and home design goods. In all they do, Starsky + Cox celebrate selfhood, seeking to engage, entertain and empower people with resonant designs-for-living that portray the underlying truth of ones singular connection with the cosmos.
