Award-winning songwriter Joey Contreras releases new music video for Ohio, his ode to midwestern boys. The single is taken from the iTunes Pop charting album, Young Kind of Love - which features collaborations with The Voice contestant Loren Allred, DCD2 Records recording artist LOLO, and a host of exciting Broadway talent. Filmed in NY, the quirky video follows the rising songwriter as he falls into an Ohioan fantasy of ballet boys dressed in plaid, overalls and football uniforms.

These ballet boys include Brandon Cournay as the "Ohio Boy", Cesar Brodermann, Benjamin Freedman, Kile Hotchkiss, and NEWSIES star Iain Young.

Joey Contreras, a musical theatre songwriter from Northern California and self-proclaimed "pop geek", has quickly captured the attention of music lovers of all ages, with his unique, emotional and infectious tunes. Within months of moving to New York in 2010, Joey received the ASCAP Foundation Max Dreyfus Scholarship recognizing his promising career while attending the Tisch School of the Arts' Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at NYU. The release of his first album Love Me, Love Me Not: The Music of Joey Contreras featured an all-star lineup of Broadway talent and has gone on to enjoy international success throughout the US, Australia, London, South Korea, Germany and Japan. His second and most recent album, Young Kind of Love debuted immediately in the iTunes Pop Charts.
