STAGE TUBE: Inside Lea Michele's Candie's Photo Shoot!

GLEE headliner and Broadway vet Lea Michele has officially been named spokeswoman for Candie's, with a series of ads to launch the star's ad campaign. Go inside her special photo shoot for the campaign below!

Candie's was founded in 1981 with the now famous sexy, high-heeled wood bottom slide, called the 'Candie'. By the mid 1980's, sales of Candie's slides soared to 14 million pairs. One out of every four women in America owned a pair of Candie's.

Best known to theatre audiences for her role as "Wendla" in the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of SPRING AWAKENING, Michele was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical for that performance. She also appeared on Broadway in RAGTIME, LES MISÉRABLES and FIDDLER ON THE ROOF.

For her work on GLEE, Michele was honored with a Golden Globe nomination for Best Television Actress - Comedy or Musical and an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. Michele was also recently nominated for a 2010 Teen Choice Award for Choice TV Actress: Comedy. In 2009, she was nominated in the Choice TV: Breakout Star Female category. Last night, Michele was awarded a People's Choice Award for GLEE.

Michele is expected to appear in more print ads in addition to these shots, similar to previous spokespeople - including current rep Vanessa Hudgens as well as Britney Spears, Fergie, Hilary Duff, Jenny McCarthy and the Dixie Chicks.
