Australian dancer and stage veteran Michael Dameski gave a performance that brought audience members to their feet on Australia's So You Think You Can Dance yesterday. The dancer, one of the top four on the show, is competing for the $100,000 prize against Lauren Seymour, Jay Johns, and Renelle Jones. Check out his showstopping performance, which has gone viral, below!

Dameski performed as one of five Billys in Billy Elliot the Musical in Australia until early 2009; later that year he joined the Broadway cast of the same show at the age of 14. He left Broadway in September 2010 to join the national tour of Billy Elliot the Musical, where he performed until January 2011. He's currently performing on the Australian version of So You Think You Can Dance after appearing twice on the television show Young Talent Time.

The title role in Billy Elliot the Musical, a physically demanding show, requires a young leading actor with tremendous talent and hard core training. Typically, the role is rotated between several boys so no one actor overworks themselves. Billy Elliot tells the story of a young boy's struggle Against the odds to make his dream come true. Follow Billy's journey as he stumbles out of the boxing ring and into a ballet class where he discovers a passion for dance that inspires his family and whole community and changes his life forever.
