SOLACE: WAX & WANE to be Presented at Hollywood Fringe Festival 2026
Solace: Wax & Wane will be presented at the Stephanie Feury Studio Theatre with performances on June 11 (7pm), June 13 (3:30pm), and June 15 (5:30pm).
Whimsycube will debut at the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2026 with Solace: Wax & Wane, a poetic, lunar‑inspired solo work exploring the rise, rupture, and renewal of love. The piece follows Solace, a man who seeks refuge in the constancy of the moon after repeated heartbreak, navigating the ecstasy and turmoil of loving those who cannot fully "step into the light."
Founded in 2015, Whimsycube is a theater company dedicated to original, imaginative work that blends whimsy with emotional truth. Its guiding principles embrace performance as art, subjectivity, and reflection, often creating offbeat and unique theatrical experiences. The company is led by Gavin Whitt-a performer, writer, director, and teaching artist, and the writer and performer of Solace: Wax & Wane-whose background includes a BA in Theater from Temple University and an MA in Acting from East 15 Acting School.
