SCOTLAND THE BRAVE Offers Music, Song At Avery Fisher 4/9

In recent times, Irish culture has taken centre stage with the phenomenal success on Broadway of Riverdance. Now it is time for the entertainment spotlight to shine on its Celtic neighbour.

SCOTLAND THE BRAVE, a rousing celebration of the best of traditionAl Scottish music and dance, has brought packed audiences to their feet in major concert halls around the globe, including four hugely successful seasons at the famed Sydney Opera House.

Presented by Andrew McKinnon, SCOTLAND THE BRAVE, the international smash hit, will conclude the festivities of Tartan Week by offering the best of Scottish music, song and dance at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall on Thursday April 9th. Tickets are $69.00 - $89.00 and can be purchased at www.Lincolncenter.org, or call the Lincoln Center Box Office at (212) 721-6500.

An international sensation, SCOTLAND THE BRAVE features a large talented cast, with a first rate orchestra and choir, pipe band and drum corps, highland dancers and Marcus Holden, a thrilling Celtic fiddler whose virtuoso performances bring the house down! The other outstanding soloists include brilliant tenor Greg Moore, soprano Suellan Cuasck, champion piper Andrew Fuller, and Colleen Rintamaki, the holder of the greatest number of world championship titles of any highland dancer in the world today. Hosting the evening's festivities is the Voice of the Edinburgh Tattoo for the past 17 years, Alasdair Hutton.
