Royal Family Productions (Katie Avebe, Mary Bernardi, Chris Henry and Andy Theodorou, Founders) have announced that they are moving to Times Square as they take over the American Globe Theatre located at 145 W 46th St.

Royal Family Productions inaugural production will be Four Last Things by Lisa Tierney-Keogh presented in their new space in January 2014. Exact dates and cast to be announced.

A NYC based not-for-profit theatre company since 2007, Royal Family Productions, Inc. (RFP) is committed to producing innovative theatre that tells important stories and providing high quality theatre education. Under Artistic Director Chris Henry, RFP has produced 300 performances, created over 1,400 employment opportunities for performers and theatre professionals and enrolled close to 1,000 students in educational programs over six seasons.

RFP's Main Stage highlights include co-productions of Anthony Rapp's Without You with The Menier Chocolate Factory and The New York Musical Theater Festival; premieres of Safe Home and Dedalus Lounge;workshops of Nobody Suspects a Butterfly and Born Blue.In association with The Irish Arts Center, RFP produced Fundamental Theatre Project's 3D Hamlet: A Lost Generation, featuring an international cast including special video performance by Alec Baldwin. The show went on to run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.At the 2013 New York Musical Festival, RFP presented The Water Dream by Shawn Cody staring Tony-Winner J. Robert Spencer

In 2012 The Emerging Artist Program was developed to nurture the next generation of artists who are at the start of their NYC careers. These artists display talent and potential in line with RFP's mission to create innovative theatre. Emerging Artist productions include Don Pedro de la Cebolla, Fireside Theatre and selections from Walking the Volcano.

RFP's Educational Theatre program concludes each session with a fully produced show featuring all of the students in the class. Educational Theatre program highlights include Louie, Red and the Jazzman, a collaboration with Wycliffe Gordon, and the DVD launch of Zin Zin Zin a Violin with Marvin Hamlisch, which featured many of RFP's students.
