Brief Synopsis:
YOU play the role of cruel fate in a romantic comedy for cynics of all ages! When a dysfunctional couple can't make simple decisions, like ordering red or white wine, the audience votes and the show takes off in wildly different directions. Soup or salad? A slap or a kiss? Life or death? YOU DECIDE! With multiple storylines and endings, plus ever-changing scene options, you can't see it all if you only see it once! A "create your own adventure" story for grown-ups.

Roles:
Jeffrey - (Male, age range 25-40) - A self proclaimed Star Wars aficionado who is late to a blind date with a bad looking corsage in his pocket. Earned a BS degree in Marine Biology with Special Focus on the Mating Rituals of Manatees. Divorced after one year of marriage. Has a difficult time with making decisions about and for the opposite sex. Underneath it all, a nice guy who really enjoys women.

Miranda - (Female, age range 25-40) - A tightly wound, anal retentive, proofreader of dust jackets. By her own description of herself. Favorite color: Puce. Favorite Juice: Prune. Mother of 28 cats. "I was born 3 weeks after my due date. That was the last time I arrived anywhere late." Her biological clock is VERY loud. She is looking for a HUSBAND.

Waiter - (Male, over the age of 30) - A Service Industry Professional at Café Serendipity, "a fine dining experience in which every meal is a happy accident". A man who "values logic, reason and 2 feet of personal space at all times." Looking for an actor that has a big presence and can charm the audience as this character is our story's Ring Master.

The ability to memorize quickly, to stay flexible, use a vivid imagination , active listening, and the ability to create on a moment's notice. This structure of this script is written as a "Choose your Own Adventure". There are approximately 60 scenes in which a different dozen will be performed nightly chosen by the audience. Improvisation experience a plus.

All roles are available.
