Rockettes Will Celebrate Christmas in August Next Week- Preview Radio City Christmas Spectacular!

The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, presented by Chase, kicks off with its annual 'Christmas in August' event in celebration of the 2014 production. On Thursday, August 14 at 11:00AM, join the Rockettes as they stop traffic on 6th avenue in front of Radio City Music Hall. The Rockettes will showcase their unparalleled glamour and renowned precision technique with a presentation from the classic favorite, "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers."

Immediately following the performance, Santa and the Rockettes will send New Yorkers a very special holiday message in a way that only Radio City can deliver. Additionally, Santa Claus will bring a surprise snowfall straight from the North Pole to dispel the summer heat. The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, presented by Chase, will run from November 7 - December 31, 2014.

The Radio City Christmas Spectacular is a one-of-a-kind holiday celebration that generations of people have come to cherish. The 2014 edition features dazzling dance numbers and costumes, traditional favorites, state-of-the-art technology and the return of a classic number that has been completely re-imagined and stars the Rockettes.

"Snow," joins classic performances, including "Living Nativity," which takes audiences on an awe-inspiring, uplifting journey, and "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers," which sets the standard for the Rockettes style of precision dance, as a vital part of the show.
