Robert Mann Gallery Presents 'Jennifer Williams: The High Line Effect'
| In The High Line Effect, Jennifer Williams' massive photo-collages envelop the gallery with bold, architectural interpretations of the High Line and surrounding environs. Alongside these immersive installations, Robert Mann Gallery is pleased to present another body of Williams' unconventional photographic work. In her small, framed pieces, the artist photographs and cuts out images of commonplace objects like boxes, wood, and rugs, layering multiple prints to create three-dimensional relief collages. By coaxing illusions of texture and space, these unique, handmade works re-imagine the prototypical "beautiful photograph" through inspired elevations of the everyday. | ||
