The Clive Fitch Report has revealed that Christopher Carter Sanderson, founding artistic and producing director of the Gorilla Repertory Theater Company, is planning to bring the work of famed blogger Tucker Max - specifically, his book I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell - to the Broadway Stage. Reportedly, the show will be titled: I Hope They Serve Beer... On Broadway!

Max tells the Clive Fitch Report: "When Kit [Sanderson's nickname] first approached me with this idea, I was somewhat skeptical, especially considering how little I know about theater and the theatrical community. But after a few emails, calls and a meeting, he sold me on it; both why it makes sense and how it can work. I am excited about it...I think this could be really cool. I mean what is better than beer, stripper poles and hot naked chicks? Now, mix them all up, make it funny, and put it on stage? Sign me up."

The project is currently in the capitalization process.

Tucker Max famously chonicles his drunken and sexual encounters in short stories on his website TuckerMax.com.  The site has reportedly received millions of visitors since its launch for a bet in 2002. His book I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell, made the New York Times Best Seller List for four consecutive years from 2006 to 2010. His book was subsequently made into a feature film of the same name.
