Rebecca Kelly Ballet presents the 14th Annual HIGHLIGHTS FROM "THE NUTCRACKER BALLET", with one evening and two matinee shows: Fri, Nov 30, 7pm, (champagne reception), and Sat/ Sun, Dec 1 and 2, at 3pm, (family audience).

Rebecca Kelly Ballet Studio is located at 579 Broadway, 4B (walk up), New York City (bet. Prince and Houston in SoHo). Subways: R, N Prince St; B, D, M, F, V B'way/ Lafayette; #6 Bleecker St. Exciting intimate setting - where dances are created.

Tickets are $35. Children under 8 years are FREE, but must be accompanied by one adult per child. Students Grade 4-College are $15. Groups of 8 or more receive 20% discount. RSVP required. Advance Sales: Telephone Reservations/ purchase between 1-5pm: Call 212-431-8489.

Recommended for all ages, 3 to 90. (But RKB's Soho studio is a 4-storey walk-up, so leave strollers behind.) Simple Bench seating. Please be prompt.

Not your typical fare - The Guest Artist - one of NYC's lovliest exports. "Highlights" takes place in the historic SoHo dance studio loft of Rebecca Kelly Ballet, (since 1974). Here you have a chance to enjoy professional dance - behind the scenes, in its most intimate, authentic and creative setting. RKB dancers are about to depart for Guest Artist productions of the Nutcracker Ballet in Tennessee, Connecticut, uptown and upstate New York. RKB - where dances and dancers are made.

Each sparkling 45-minute event features RKB Soloists who appear as Guest Artists in regional productions of The Nutcracker. RKB's Behind the Scenes presentations have included the Sugar Plum Fairy, the Snow Queen solo, and selections from divertissements including the Arabian, Marzipan, Russian and Chinese variations, with theatrical costume and studio lighting. Each event includes a reception for guests to mingle with the artists and share refreshments and the famous "Tray of Sweets." Programs are moderated by choreographer Rebecca Kelly, artistic director and founder of Rebecca Kelly Ballet and the early childhood creative movement program Kids Co-Motion.
