Radio Happy Hour's fall season has been a huge success. A special afternoon with Born Ruffians and Andrew Bujalski, followed by a SOLD OUT performance with Norah Jones and Gabe Liedman, a surprise apperaance and performance from indie-chamber-pop group Cloud Cult, and the debut of the new Radio Happy Hour video series The Fall of Keith, has all made this Radio Happy Hour's biggest season yet.

The season continues with a special evening performance called Radio Happy Hour & Friends, which will feature more guest performances, more stand up, more radio comedy, and much more Radio Happy Hour. The special engagement at the Bell House on November 17th will feature Thao Nguyen of Thao with the Get Down Stay Down, Mike Doughty, comedians Jessi Klein (Comedy Central presents in 2011), Ali Wong, and John & Molly Knefel. More guests TBA and more special guests that won't be announced until the day of show.

At Radio Happy Hour and Friends, the Radio Happy Hour crew, along with guests, a surprise house band and parade of comedians will try to solve a murder mystery at an amusement park involving a fake Christopher Walken at a comedy convention/carnival and sideshow. Don't miss this special engagement from Radio Happy Hour.

Radio Happy Hour, the radio show not on the radio, is a live variety show featuring a made-for-radio murder mystery sitcom, guest stars, musical performances, an audience quiz, and interviews with the guests. Past shows have seen Norah Jones as a motel manager; Michael Showalter as the host of his very own cable fitness show; Andrew W.K. as the iconic John Bender character from The Breakfast Club; Tunde Adebimpe (TV on the Radio) as the founder of a wilderness camp for ineffectual men; Kumail Nanjiani as a ventriloquist with a southern dummy; Craig Finn & Tad Kubler (The Hold Steady) as brothers and Chuck Klosterman as their dad on a doomed road trip to a small town called Manhattan, Minnesota.

Radio Happy Hour is the creation of Sam Osterhout, who also writes and serves as the show's host. "We try to book guests that have personalities that cross at odd angles," said Osterhout, "But there are always these neat little connections. You never know what will happen."  All shows are podcast online following the performance. You can hear past episodes of Radio Happy Hour, with guests such as Norah Jones, Andrew W.K., The Hold Steady, Tunde Adebimpe (of TV on the Radio), Cursive, Jesse Eisenberg, Tapes 'n Tapes, Michael Showalter, Eugene Mirman, Chuck Klosterman, and more at RadioHappyHour.com or at iTunes.
