Radio City Music Hall is proud to announce the Stage Door Tour will introduce five brand new tour enhancements offering patrons a more interactive experience when visiting this famed theater. This must see behind-the-scenes tour takes a step back in time allowing guests to feel the splendor and rich history where the greatest entertainers in the world have graced the Great Stage and delighted audiences for more than 75 years!

"Radio City Music Hall is one of the most iconic theaters in the world and has such an unprecedented history of playing host to the biggest names and events in entertainment," said Rich Claffey, senior vice president and general manager of Radio City Music Hall. "The Stage Door Tour allows patrons to get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the breadth and depth of this historical venue. We are thrilled to share with patrons our new innovative tour that will offer a more interactive experience and establish this tour as a must see attraction in New York City."

This one-hour journey, lead by expertly trained tour guides, will take you through the history of one of the country's most magnificent National Landmarks. Guests will be able to explore the beautiful art-deco interior, learn the secrets and history of the Great Stage, tour the lavish private apartment of "Roxy" Rothafel, The Roxy Suite, and have the opportunity to meet one of the world-famous Radio City Rockettes, stars of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular!
This year, the Stage Door Tour will offer new enhancements allowing visitors to experience a more in-depth look than ever before at this iconic theater. The five specific additions of the tour include:

An updated montage of Rockette images in the tour photo gallery reflecting their presence in the 21st century and legacy at Radio City.
A life size Rockette kick-line cut-out allowing a unique photo opportunity to capture and share with family and friends.
A brand new hydraulics video giving patrons an inside look at the history of the theaters technically advanced stage elevator system with never before seen images and interviews.
A revealing look at the Radio City Autograph Book, which has been signed with personal messages by every artist to ever grace the Great Stage in the venues history.
Complimentary fact sheets created in six different languages - English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, and Japanese - to relay the marvel and history of Radio City to patrons visiting from all over the world.

Since its opening in 1933, Radio City has hosted some of entertainment's most memorable moments, ranging from music to dance to theater. MTV hosted their very first Video Music Awards right on the Great Stage and the Grammys, Tony's and Daytime Emmy Awards have all been presented at Radio City. Some of the top artists in the music industry including Tony Bennett, Aretha Franklin, Michael Buble, Dave Matthews and Harry Connick Jr. have all performed at this legendary theater.

In 1999, Radio City Music Hall was restored to its original grandeur following a $70 million restoration. The Music Hall was declared a New York Landmark in 1979 and then designated a National Landmark in 1987. After taking the Stage Door Tour, visitors will have no doubt that the theater is well deserving of this prestigious honor. Each stop on the tour evokes a sense of majesty, grandeur, elegance and style - all words appropriately used to describe Radio City Music Hall.

Visitors cannot help but feel the rich sense of history that has been created within the theater. Radio City Music Hall is truly an integral part of the heart and soul of New York City. No tourist or native New Yorker should miss the chance to take the Stage Door Tour and experience the impressive theater up close and personal.
