Playhouse Creatures Theatre Company (PCTC, www.playhousecreatures.org), is honored to be producing the first public stage version of celebrated author, Peter Gajdics,' epic autobiography, 'The Inheritance of Shame.'

Conceived and directed by PCTC veteran, Scott Davis, 'The Inheritance of Shame' is the epic tale of Gajdics' escape from a bizarre form of 'conversion' therapy. Davis says of the work:

"The Inheritance Of Shame unearths generational trauma, within the context of a highly toxic and harmful form of therapy, which still exists today. I was drawn to Peter's story and this work because of his incredible advocacy towards the ban of conversion therapy, across his home country of Canada and the rest of the world.

This collaboration came to be from my proactive nature to seek out stories that can help illuminate the hidden crevices in our world, which need to come to the surface and create important conversations on and off stage."

Creative and executive produced by Madeleine Goldsmith and Joseph W. Rodriguez (Producing Artistic Director of PCTC), the cast includes:
Annie Hagg: Indecent at Yale Rep with Rebecca Taichman
