New York's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center will present its Garden Party 24 benefit on Monday, June 18th at Pier 54.

"'Garden Party' is our largest and signature, outdoor fundraising celebration that directly benefits the Center, and attracts more than 2,500 revelers to kick-off Pride Week in NYC. This year Garden Party will be from 6 to 10 p.m., and the soiree will be bigger than ever, with more than 25 participating restaurants joining us to share tasting portions of their signature dishes. And we are thrilled to announce the Presenting Sponsor of our celebration: longtime supporter and sponsor Prudential Financial," state LGBT Center notes.

The event will feature a feast, an open bar sponsored by Absolut, raffle items, and entertainment.  Performers will include: Leslie Kritzer, who recently recreated Patti LuPone's famed "Les Mouches" concerts from the 1980's and currently plays Elle Woods' best friend in Broadway's Legally Blonde; Tony Award-winner Tonya Pinkins, who currently stars in August Wilson's Radio Golf, the Lavender Light Gospel Choir; new recording artist, from producer Duncan Sheik, Chris Garneau, as well as very special surprise guest! Longtime friend and supporter of the Center, Kate Clinton, will once again serve as host.

"With nearly 25 years of leadership in health and wellness services, community events, and advocacy, we help our LGBT community discover, dream, connect, and take action. The Center inspires LGBT people at every stage of life to celebrate who we are, empower who we want to be, and transform our world."
