Julianna Buchmann and Kelsie Davis will each lead separate casts as Carrie White in the Stephen King adaptation.
CNY Arts Center will present CARRIE: THE MUSICAL this June in a special double-cast production. Check out photos of the production.
Based on Stephen King's debut novel, the musical follows Carrie White, a shy and isolated teenager whose life is transformed after she discovers she possesses telekinetic powers. Exploring themes of bullying, family conflict, and self-discovery, the musical features a score by Michael Gore and lyrics by Dean Pitchford.
The production will be presented over two weekends, with separate casts performing the principal roles.
Weekend One Cast
Performances June 5–7
Carrie White will be played by Julianna Buchmann, with Haley Georgia as Margaret White, Cassie Delore as Sue Snell, and Desiree Alexander as Ms. Gardner.
Weekend Two Cast
Performances June 12–14
Kelsie Davis will play Carrie White, alongside Korrie Taylor as Margaret White, Lillian Campudoni as Sue Snell, and Meghan Less as Ms. Gardner.
With its contemporary score and adaptation of King's supernatural thriller, CARRIE: THE MUSICAL remains a cult favorite among musical theater audiences.
