ASTEP recently held a star-studded gala at 54 Below honoring the activism of composer and lyricist Georgia Stitt, and ASTEP's work with CASES, the Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment Services. Check out the photos from the evening below!

The Gala, hosted by Andrea Martin, raised more than $90,000 that will go towards bringing arts programs to underserved youth in the U.S. and around the world.

Performers included Grey Henson, Kate Baldwin, Laura Osnes, Joel Perez, Sean Green Jr, Tony Yazbek and more -- attendees included Erika Henningsen, Taylor Trensch, Drew Gehling, Jason Robert Brown and more.

ASTEP was conceived by Broadway musical director Mary-Mitchell Campbell and Juilliard students to transform the lives of youth using the most powerful tool they had - their art. With programs as local as New York City and as global as India and South Africa, ASTEPVolunteer Artists teach in schools and community organizations, serving youth affected by refugee status, homelessness, gun violence, the justice system, HIV/AIDS, and systemic poverty.
