This past Friday, October 10, Global Green USA's dazzling Gorgeous & Green Gala -- Emerald City -- was held at the LEED-certified Bently Reserve in San Francisco and celebrated designer eco-fashion, sustainable technologies and eco-conscious initiatives. The glamorous sold-out event was a spectacular evening uniting numerous eco-conscious celebrities and Bay Area luminaries, such as Goldie Hawn, Vanessa Hudgens, Austin Butler, Navid Negahban, Catt Sadler, Louise Roe, Shoshana Bean, Paul Hipp and more. The sold-out event raised over $400,000 from the evening's ticket sales and live auction which will benefit Global Green USA's national programs devoted to implementing smart solutions to climate change, including waste diversion and building green and resilient communities.

The benefit featured musical performances of "The Wizard and I" and "Defying Gravity" by Broadway star and recording artist, Shoshana Bean, famous for her portrayal of Elphaba in the Broadway musical WICKED, as well as live performances by Gregangelo's Velocity Circus.
