The Downtown Urban Arts Festival opened its Sweet 16 Season in a HUGE way.
Recording sensation and VOICE contestant, WÉ MCDONALD, sang standards, pop, rock, and her own creations to a pack house of ardent fans and joyous guests at The Public Theater's cabaret, Joe's Pub.
Ms. McDonald opens the festival and represented the music portion of the Downtown Urban Arts Festival, which will be presenting live theater, poetry, and film throughout lower Manhattan at venues including NEW YORK LIVE ARTS, THEATRE 80 ST.
