Joe Benincasa and Brian Scott Lipton were Jamie deRoy & Peter Ledonne's guests for this weeks broadcast from Patsy's Italian Restaurant. As President & CEO of The Actor Fund Mr. Benincasa oversees innovative programs including comprehensive social services, health care services, employment and training, and affordable, supportive and senior housing. The Actors Fund's headquarters are in New York City with regional offices in Los Angeles and Chicago, a nursing home in Englewood, NJ, and supportive housing residences in Manhattan, NY, West Hollywood, CA, and Brooklyn, NY. He is also President of the Actors Fund Housing Development Corporation which is building affordable, supportive and senior care residences for artists in major urban centers.
Brian Scott Lipton is well known Broadway Theatre journalist, critic, and on air commentator and discussed his latest venture on the Jewish Channel. Brian is the executive producer if uts oioykar theater-oriented monthly TV show, "Row J," which began airing on demand this month. Each episode of "RowJ" focuses on Broadway and off-Broadway shows, highlighting Jewish themes, actors, writers, and directors and is hosted by TJC correspondent Meredith Ganzman. Called a "Jewish HBO" by the New York Times, The Jewish Channel is an award-winning premium cable television channel available nationwide.
Night Life correspondent Jamie deRoy as usual gave a run down of the entertainment activities in New York City, which this time included the opening of The Lion. Jamie is one of the producers of the critically acclaimed one man show at The Lynn Redgrave Theatre.
