Isabella Rossellini starred as legendary German singer and actress Lotte Lenya in the American Musical Project's "Kurt and Lenya in Their Own Words" on February 5, 2007, 7 p.m. at the New-York Historical Society (170 Central Park West at 77th Street).

"From 1924 to 1950, letters flowed between brilliant émigrés, Kurt Weill and Lotte Lenya. Scott Alan Evans directs Isabella Rossellini as Lotte Lenya and a cast of singers in excerpts from their intimate writings, along with songs from Weill's Knickerbocker Holiday, Lady in the Dark, One Touch of Venus, Love Life, and Lost in the Stars," state press notes on the concert, which also featured Jeffry Denman and was presented as part of the AMP's Concert Series 2007.

Rossellini's many film and TV credits include Heights, The Saddest Music in the World, Roger Dodger, "Merlin," "The Odyssey," Big Night, Immortal Beloved, Death Becomes Her, Wild at Heart and Blue Velvet.  She is the daughter of film icon Ingrid Bergman and director Roberto Rossellini.
