Tony Award-winner Jim Dale was saluted at a Friars Club Musical Tribute on Monday, October 30th. 

Among those toasting Dale were Bebe Neuwirth, Len Cariou, Tovah Feldshuh, Dee Hoty, Lee Roy Reams, Jason Danieley and Lillias WhiteFreddie Roman served as master of ceremonies, while Dennis Buck offered musical direction and Randie Levine-Miller produced.

Dale has appeared on Broadway in The Threepenny Opera (2006 Tony Award nomination), Candide (1997 Tony Award nomination), Me and My Girl, Joe Egg (1985 Tony Award nomination), Barnum (1980 Tony Award) and Scapino (1975 Tony Award nomination), for which he also adapted the book and wrote the music.

Dale will star with Glenn Close in the York Theatre Company's November 13th benefit performance of Busker Alley.
