According to news.com.au, Paris Hitlon is reported to appear in a London stage version of cult Australian TV show Prisoner: Cell Block H.

Hilton recently served 23 days in jail for driving with a suspended license.  If cast, Hilton would star as an inmate in the women-only prison; possibly even involved in a lesbian-storyline.

"There was a real buzz around the show when we thought we would get some well-known Australian soap actors but Paris is a major coup. The casting agents never thought she'd be interested, but before meeting with the directors she researched the show by watching DVDs of the original series. She absolutely loved it and thought it was brilliantly camp," states the website.

Hilton, heiress to the Hilton Hotel fortune, recently appeared in the horror film House of Wax and made her American television person opposite Nicole Richie in her FOX reality show, "The Simple Life."  Hilton released a perfume, designed a clothing label and has recorded a pop album.

The TV series Prisoner: Cell Block H premiered in the United Kingdom February 1979 and ran for six seasons through December 1986.  For more information, visit the official fan website: www.Prisoner-CellBlockH.co.uk
