Register online now for the National Alliance for Musical Theatre's 21st Annual Festival of New Musicals on October 19th and 20th at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street). NAMT's Festival is an industry-only Festival which brings together theatre professionals to discover talented writers and eight new musicals in 45-minute staged readings. According to American Theatre Magazine, "It's an industry-only event, and it happens for only two days, but it makes a major impact in the world of musical theatre." Past Festival highlights include Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Drowsy Chaperone, Children of Eden, Striking 12, and Ordinary Days.

This year's Festival includes dramas, comedies, and family musicals, with stars such as Tony-winners Debra Monk and Harriett Harris, Next to Normal's Adam Chanler-Berat, Avenue Q's Anika Larsen, Spelling Bee's Lisa Howard, A Catered Affair's Leslie Kritzer and Jersey Boys' Sebastian Arcelus. Come see 8 new musicals plus the Songwriters Showcase, or pick and choose which shows you would like to see.

There is no fee to attend NAMT's Festival of New Musicals. We rely solely on sponsorship and donations to present these talented artists to the theatre industry. We hope you will consider making a Premiere Pass Donation of $300 to help NAMT in our mission, which provides you with guaranteed priority seating at the Festival presentations and an invitation to the Closing Party.

There are no registration forms to print out and mail. Just go online to register at: http://namt.org/festival-2009-registration.aspx
