Almost two years ago, Playboy's Fashion Director Joseph DeAcetis launched the popular "Playboy Style" section to serve as an online extension of the magazine's monthly, multi-page fashion pictorials. Today, Playboy announced its "Fall Fashion Guide" (www.playboy.com/style) -- which launches to coincide with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week -- featuring a prominent actor and model to help showcase the Americana-inspired autumnal styles. Nick Adams, 25, recently starred in Broadway's "A Chorus Line" as Larry -- opposite Mario Lopez -- and soon will be recognized for his upcoming 2(x)ist underwear campaign. Currently, the theater-turned-big-screen actor also is filming "An Englishman in New York," starring two-time Oscar nominee John Hurt.
"I had a blast shooting the Fall Fashion Guide for Playboy.com and am really excited to be associated with one of the most iconic brands in the world," said Adams. "The layered looks were so comfortable and easy to wear, which was a relief as we spent The Whole shoot running around and playing football!"Significantly this season, Playboy.com showcases American designers and brands -- including a new a sportswear line from Calvin Klein called Calvin Klein Sport, GAP, Under Armour, and C9 by Champion -- and reflects an "all-American" theme via American-style lager sponsor Budweiser Select. The pictorial was shot at the West Sayville Country Club by DeAcetis who paid homage to his Long Island, New York hometown by selecting it as the backdrop. He also purposely cast three unknown male models, who are not professionals but rather local college students, to pose alongside Adams and Ukrainian beauty Natalia Komissarova.Photo Credit Peter James Zielinksi
