On October 9, 2015, The New York Pops - a symphonic orchestra known for presenting popular programs of exceptional quality - will launch its 33rd season, a series at Carnegie Hall celebrating the diversity of some of popular music's greatest icons. Music Director Steven Reineke, who has been described by The New York Times as a "polished, welcoming host" who is "young and vigorous, with a playful attitude," will lead the orchestra in a highly anticipated concert season, including an opening night concert celebrating the legacy of Rodgers and Hammerstein; a sultry tribute to Billie Holiday and other sophisticated ladies; a festive holiday concert featuring Broadway stars Stephanie J. Block and Brian d'Arcy James; and a celebration of the long-lasting relationship between film legends Steven Spielberg and John Williams.

"We are thrilled to announce the lineup for The New York Pops 2015-16 season," says Music Director Steven Reineke. "Our terrific orchestra is looking forward to playing host to some incredible artists. I am excited to be able to offer such a wonderful variety of concerts for our 33rd season, and I'm eagerly anticipating another memorable year."
