New York New Works Theatre Festival Announces 2015 Participants; Broadway Producers Among Panel

Some of Broadway's most prominent players are donating their time to mentor the next generation of industry writers and those writers have been announced!

Participants range in ages from 17 to 70 and include everything from a Vampire Rock Opera originating from Canada to an original musical by Denise McQueen and composed with music by Eagles legend, Don Henley!

McQueen states, "The energy is amazing! This Festival is an extraordinary opportunity for everyone to be reviewed by people that can really help our careers. It really is the first Festival of its kind!"

First Round Dates: August 17, 18, 19, 20, 24, 25, 26, 27

Semi Final Dates: August 31, September 1,2,3

Finals: September 16

Performances are held at 7pm at the Times Square Arts Center on 300 West 43rd Street - the Elektra Theatre. Tickets can soon be purchased at: www.nynwtheatrefestival.com.

Festival creator, Gene Fisch, Jr. states, "The Panel couldn't be more thrilled with the wealth of talent that everyone brings to the table. To help transform their dreams into realities is one of the most fulfilling experiences one could ever wish for". Matthew Wright of Good People Management states "We are excited to be working with a Festival that takes such an invested interest in each show welcomed into the family".
