The London Evening Standard reports that approximately 15 heavily armed police officers carrying automatic assault rifles and riot shields targeted a south east London home last night after a neighbor mistook a rehearsal for a gun attack.

Four West End actors live on the property, including Rory Taylor, who stars as Michael Jackson in THRILLER LIVE.

Simon Gordon (pictured) had been rehearsing to audition for the role of Gerry Goffin in the West End production of BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL, along with housemate Joel Harper-Jackson, who currently plays the role. Though no gun was being used, the scene involves a character begging for his life.

"It was surreal" said Gordon. "We got a really aggressive knock at the door. Joel opened it and there were five policemen with shields and massive guns. They had full riot gear on and helmets. They were asking how many people were in the house. They were aggressive to begin with. My heart was racing. I was ready for action, I thought Joel had opened the door to some dodgy character."
