Due high demand, The New York Musical Theatre Festival's Captain Gravy's Wavy Navy: Where's the Moon?,  has added an additional performance on September 23 at 4:30pm at The 45th Street Theatre, 354 West 45th Street (between 8th and 9th Aves.), New York, NY.  Tickets are also available for the late night Captain Gravy on Friday, September 23 at 10pm.

Captain Gravy's Wavy Navy: Where's the Moon?, which began on September 14th, was to have run through the 22nd, but now ends its run on the 23rd.

The show is directed by Elizabeth Lucas and choreographed by Maurice Brandon Curry.  It features book, lyrics and music by David Cooper and Jeffrey Katz.

"We are thrilled to have received such a positive response and an extension after joining the festival lineup so late," said Lucas. "We knew the kids would love it and have been tickled to see the adults diving into our trippy little universe as well. The extra show is a great opportunity to build on positive buzz and move the show a step closer to its post-festival life."

"Join Captain Gravy and his Wavy Navy on a Sergeant Pepper-style psychedelic adventure quest to save the world from the evil Mu Pollu. A wickedly funny, upbeat show about environmentalism that's appropriate for all ages," state press notes.

The show stars James Edward Becton, Edward M. Barker, Brian Barry, Amy Coleman, Kathy Deitch, Enrique Cruz DeJesus, Gregory Guy Gorden, Reggan Holland, Lauren Lebowitz, and Kenny Wade Marshall.

It features sets by David Esler, costumes by Carri Skoczek, and lights by Daniel Ordower.
