One21 Collective is proud to present Men To Be Feared as part of the 16th annual New York International Fringe Festival, August 10-26, 2012. Written by Rebecca Jane Stokes and directed by Sherri Eden Barber, the production will premiere at the Connelly Theater.

Men To Be Feared is a dark fairytale that explores the fine line between love, violence and loyalty in a kingdom torn apart by war and ruled by paranoia. The characters find themselves navigating an isolated world enveloped by loneliness and mistrust, where happiness is a risk few will take. In addition to the staged performances, audiences are encouraged to watch the short film of Men To Be Feared, which acts as a prequel to the staged production, premiering online August 6th, www.One21Collective.com.

The cast, Nate Faust (Oliver), Dana Mazzenga (Hannah), Aidan O’Shea (King) and Patrick Williams (Francis), in addition to playwright Stokes and director Barber are all graduates of The New School for Drama’s M.F.A. program, making the production a class reunion of sorts. The group studied together for three years under the direction of industry legends like, Ron Leibman, Bob Lupone, Pippin Parker, Frank Pugliese, Elinor Renfield, Paul Rudd, Chris Shinn, Nova Thomas and Robert Walden, among others.

Performance dates of Men To Be Feared at the Connelly Theater (220 East 4th Street New York, NY 10009) are as follows:
