NASA Astronauts & Neil deGrasse Tyson Launch Space Exhibition at AMNH

Leading up to the opening of the major new exhibition Beyond Planet Earth: The Future of Space Exploration, on Saturday, November 19, the American Museum of Natural History invites you to a series of events to preview the exhibition and to celebrate the accompanying laser light installation by Tim Otto Roth, From the Distant Past.

Cullman Hall of the UniverseJoin us for a special public program for school groups and Museum visitors, hosted by Hayden Planetarium Director Neil deGrasse Tyson and Curator Michael Shara, with astronauts Mike Massimino and John Grunsfeld of NASA's mission STS-125 to repair the Hubble Space Telescope. The discussion will focus on the STS-125 mission, the laser art installation From The Distant Past, and themes explored in the new exhibition Beyond Planet Earth. This event will be live-streamed on the Museum's website, amnh.org.
