Pianist and musical director Paul Trueblood passed away on January 16, 2012 at 77 years old.

Born in Evansville, Indiana, Trueblood moved to New York and worked with artists including Elaine Stritch, Dorothy Loudon, Helen Gallagher, Carol King, Matthew Broderick, Diane Keaton, Julie Wilson, Nancy Dussault and Jose Ferrer, and frequently worked with lyricist and librettist Alan Jay Lerner. On Broadway, he played piano for 'A Party with Betty Comden & Adolph Green.'

Trueblood is survived by his sister Rosann Hoehn and husband Pete; niece Vicki Hoehn; nephews Mark, Paul, and Tim Hoehn all of Evansville; 11 great nieces and nephews.
