Music at the Odyssey to Present A LIFE IN JAZZ Celebrating Billie Holiday, John Coltrane and More
The performance will feature John Snow as upright bass player and music director, JJ Kirkpatrick on trumpet, Patrick Sargent on saxophone and more.
Music at the Odyssey will celebrate the inspiring canon of jazz masters Cannonball Adderley, Nancy Wilson, Billie Holiday, John Coltrane, Nina Simone and the poetry of Langston Hughes with A Life in Jazz, a one-night-only musical journey curated and directed by John Snow and featuring an extraordinary slate of musicians and vocalists on the intimate stage at the Odyssey Theatre.
The performance will feature John Snow as upright bass player and music director, JJ Kirkpatrick on trumpet, Patrick Sargent on saxophone, Greg Webster on drums, Leo Folsom on piano, Jake Noveck on guitar, and vocals by Teira Church and Princeton Parker.
The event will take place on Saturday, June 27 at 8 p.m. at the Odyssey Theatre, located at 2055 S. Sepulveda Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90025.
Free parking will be available in the on-site parking lot, with additional street parking also available. Tickets are $30, with a $3 fee added to each ticket when using a credit card.
