Actor Morgan Karr will join additional members of the Broadway community in a 2-mile walk for Alzheimer's treatment and prevention on Oct. 25.  The walk begins at 9 am in Riverside Park (97th and Riverside).  Among the walkers will be emcee Tony-Winner David Hyde Pierce

The walk is free for all who register. To register, click here: http://MW2009nyc.kintera.org/broadwayfightsalzheimers. Those who wish to make a donation can do so online at http://MW2009nyc.kintera.org/morgankarr to show support.

Morgan Karr recently lost his grandmother to Alzheimer's and has remained an advocate for the fight against the disease since her passing. His recent concert last spring at Joe's Pub, "An Awfully Big Adventure" raised over $5,000 for Alzheimer's research. Morgan Karr returns to Joe's Pub this fall on Oct. 19 with an all-new show and HAIR's Kacie Sheik and Jay Armstrong Johnson, as well as Spring Awakening's Alice Lee.
