Milton Polsky, Warren Wyss and Joanne Zipay to Sign, Chat COME, YOU SPIRITS! at Drama Book Shop

The Drama Book Shop will welcome authors Milton Polsky, Warren Wyss, and Joanne Zipay for a discussion and signing of their newly published book Come, You Spirits! The Supernatural World Of Shakespeare. The June 27th, 5:00pm event is free to the public, but priority admission is given to those who purchase a copy of Come, You Spirits!

Come, You Spirits! The Supernatural World of Shakespeare: A Guide for Critical Thinking and Creative Activities offers an approach to exploring the supernatural elements in Shakespeare's plays for individuals, groups, or classes. Starting with an examination of the supernatural elements used by Shakespeare, it goes on to show how the words of Shakespeare can serve as an inspiration for new theatrical works, and includes original plays plus tips on writing your own play.

Milton Polsky is a prize-winning playwright and author of over twenty-five books. He has taught writing and theater at New York University and City University of New York.

Warren Wyss, a contributing author to From Silk to Oil, and a literary editor, has taught writing, literature, film and theater studies at a number of institutions in New York City. Milton & Warren's last book was Shadows on Bleecker Street, published by Puck Press.

Joanne Zipay founded and served for 20 years as Artistic Director of Judith Shakespeare Company NYC. Currently, she's a director, dramaturg, educator, and writer based in the NYC area.
