"See 'Em On Stage: A Production Company" has announced the world premiere of a bloody new holiday musical comedy: "A Christmassacre Story". Tony-award winning actor Michael Cerveris (Sweeney Todd, The Good Wife) plays Burl Ives in this brand new Christmas horror musical comedy. The puppet and live action show features original songs by Paul Sanchez (Nine Lives, two time New Orleans Songwriter of the Year) and Mary Lasseigne (Mary Jane & The Brain Surgeon, Cowboy Mouth), with a book and additional lyrics by Kimberly Kaye (Nine Lives) under the direction of Christopher Bentivegna (Musical Of The Living Dead)

"A Christmassacre Story" features a madcap ensemble cast:

Michael Cerveris (December 4-7 only)*
Katie Coplen Bourg (Avenue Q),
Logan Faust (One Man, Two Guvnors),
Kimberly Kaye (Nine Lives, Loose Cattle)
Edward Simon (Musical of the Living Dead)*
with Bryan Batt (Mad Men)* in a special voice over...as Bryan Batt

A surprise New Orleans celebrity guest star steps in for Michael Cerveris for the December 11th-14th performances.

In a Mr. Rogers-From-Hell puppet extravaganza, Clarice the Reindeer and Hannibal Lector track "Silence of The Lambs" killer Buffalo Bill after he kidnaps "A Christmas Story"'s beloved Ralphie. 34 puppets, 4 overworked puppeteers, and a different special surprise New Orleans musical guest star nightly (including John Boutte, Robin Barnes, Davis Rogan, Debbie Davis, Susan Cowsill, Paul Sanchez, Mary Lasseigne, Jamie Lynn Vessels, and Sonia Tetlow) will skewer "A Christmas Carol," "The Brady Bunch," "Peanuts," "It's a Wonderful Life" and many more in a holiday special unlike anything you've ever seen...or may ever see again. Be careful--we'll shoot your eye out.

(may not be suitable for younger children or overly discerning sensibilities)

"A Christmassacre Story" will open at The Shadowbox Theatre, located at 2400 St. Claude Avenue-New Orleans, LA-70117, tonight, December 4th (8pm), and will run the 5th (7pm and 9pm)), 6th (7pm and 9pm), 7th (5pm), 11th (8pm), 12th (7pm and 9pm), 13th (7pm and 9pm), and 14th (3pm).
