The Metropolitan Museum of Art will hold its annual Family Benefit on Monday, February 7 from 5-8 p.m. Tickets are required for this interactive, one-night-only charity event.

The Met's Family Benefit is a fun and lively evening for parents and children to explore the Museum together after hours. The theme of this year's Family Benefit is Exotic Journey: An Adventure on the Spice Route. The event features dinner, dancing and live entertainment, as well as creative and interactive activities. Among the engaging programs for families throughout the event are: hands-on projects such as creating your own flying carpet, an armor demonstration, Indian dance lessons, a musical instrument demonstration, the ever-popular fashion show and much more.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art is located at 1000 Fifth Avenue at 82nd Street in Manhattan.
