Fire & Rain: The Songs of James Taylor Monday, October 4, 2010 at 8 pm

A cast of Broadway stars sings through the James Taylor songbook, reinventing such classics as "Sweet Baby James," "Fire And Rain," "Shower The People" and "How Sweet It Is." Featuring Heidi Blickenstaff ([title of show], The Full Monty, The Little Mermaid), Michael Winther (Mamma Mia!), Will Chase (Rent, Miss Saigon, High Fidelity), Clarke Thorell (original cast of Hair Spray) and Benjamin Schrader (Ragtime, Avenue Q).

Merkin Concert Hall's Broadway Close Up series, now in its 10th anniversary season, takes audiences behind the scenes of classic musicals old and new and gives them sneak peeks at some of the best new shows in production.
