According to an article from the website ShowbizSpy, 'Transformers' actress Megan Fox tells insiders she would rather be onstage.

"Megan is desperate to get away from her Transformers image and move on with her acting career," reveals a source close to Fox. "Theater really appeals to her. She has nothing lined up yet but she's open to offers."

The actress is eager to take on the challenge saying, 'The thing is I didn't grow up in a television show or in theater where you can grow as an actress without all eyes being on you," she said.

"My first job was Transformers and I have kind of had to grow with each project. I was under an incredible amount of anticipation with everyone watching me. I feel like the more I work the better I will become."

Fox first appeared on the small screen in 'Hope and Faith.'  Her film debut was 'Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen,' but her break-out role was in the blockbuster 'Transformers' (and its sequel) opposite Shia LaBeouf.  In 2009, she starred in the Diablo Cody penned 'Jennifer's Body.'
