 THE ICE PALACE, located within the Grove Hotel in Cherry Grove, continues the third season of BRANDON & RAY'S BROADWAY AT THE BEACH, an open-mic musical theatre party on Fire Island featuring Broadway's best! On Monday, August 11th, from 9pm till 11pm, join host Brandon Cutrell (MAC & Bistro Award winning host of THE AFTER PARTY) with Ray Fellman (Captain Louie) at the piano for this weekly party on Fire Island. There is no cover charge and no minimum. Rain or shine, all audience members are welcome to sing as the mic is always open, or sit back, breathe the ocean air and enjoy a cocktail with friends.

Monday, August 11th, joining will be special guests Kevin Meaney of NBC's "Saturday Night Live" and Broadway's Hairspray, Susan Mosher of Broadway's Hairspray and the underground cult-hit Cashino, Marissa Perry of Broadway's Hairspray, Josh Franklin of Broadway's Legally Blonde, Alysha Umphress of The After Party, and The Ice Palace's own Logan Hardcore. All will be on hand along to greet fans and perform a few numbers as only they can.

Emmy Award winner Kevin Meaney currently is a member of the Broadway cast of Hairspray. Kevin is a nationally known standup comedian with HBO Comedy Specials, Comedy Central Specials, and numerous appearances on the Tonight Show and Saturday Night Live. Susan Mosher is Prudy Pingleton in the Broadway production of Hairspray. Before joining the Broadway company of Hairspray, she performed was a member of its cast in Las Vegas. Off-Broadway: Suds, Back to Bacharach & David. TV: "Without a Trace," HBO's "If These Walls Could Talk 2" w/ Vanessa Redgrave, "Veronica's Closet," and a recurring role on Showtime's "The L Word." Marissa Perry is making her Broadway debut as Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray. Previously, Marissa was seen playing Tracy Turnblad in one of the first regional theatre productions of Hairspray at the Weston Playhouse in Vermont. Other regional credits include Wild Mushrooms (Seven Angels Theatre), Princesses (World Premiere, Goodspeed Musicals). Pre-Broadway/Original Cast: Princesses (5th Avenue Theatre, Seattle).

Josh Franklin currently is a member of the Broadway cast of Legally Blonde. Before joining Legally Blonde, Josh made his Broadway debut in Grease! His national tours include All Shook Up, Grease, and Disney's On The Record. In addition to being a songwriter, Josh is also a member of the T.V.I. Actor's Studio. Alysha Umphress, a graduate of The Boston Conservatory, recently made her Off-Broadway debut in Make Me A Song: The Music of William Finn. Every Friday night in Manhattan, Alysha co-hosts The After Party with Brandon Cutrell. Prior to The After Party, Alysha made a splash at the Chelsea bar, XL, winning their American Idol-type competition, XL Star. She recently opened for Diana Krall at the Fujitsu Jazz Festival, soloed along side Carlos Santana at San Francisco's Fillmore Auditorium and performed with the Boston Pops. Regional roles include the Witch in Into the Woods, Trina in Falsettos and Winnifred in Once Upon a Mattress. Alysha is the recipient of two Bay Area Theatre Critics Awards for her work in Rags and FAB! She has belted out the National Anthem for The Oakland A's, San Francisco Giants, Golden State Warriors, Sacramento Kings and San Jose Sharks.

Logan Hardcore is the newest addition to the 2008 entertainment roster at The Ice Palace. He can seen every Monday night at The Ice Palace in Brandon and Ray's Broadway At The Beach as well as various other shows throughout the week. In Manhattan Logan regularly performs at NYC nightclubs, including The Ritz, Vlada, and Therapy. Logan is widely known for his renditions of musical theatre songs. Brandon Cutrell is a Bistro Award and two-time MAC Award winner. Brandon is co-host of The After Party, the wildly popular, weekly Friday night musical theatre "schmoozefest" at The Laurie Beechman Theatre on 42nd Street in Manhattan. Time Out New York proclaims The After Party is "the thing to do in New York on a Friday night." Brandon's New York credits include Broadway By The Year at Town Hall, Broadway Unplugged at Town Hall, Pippin (with Ben Vereen and Rosie O'Donnell), La Gioconda at TheatreSource, David Friedman's King Island Christmas, and liz swados' Waiting For Lefty. National: Theatre of the Stars, Goodspeed Musicals, the Human Race Theatre, the Fulton Theatre and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra. Bistro Award winner Ray Fellman recently made his Off-Broadway debut when he was handpicked by Stephen Schwartz to musical direct his off-Broadway musical, Captain Louie. Other Musical Director credits include The Tutor by Wood/Gerle (59 E. 59th), Reluctant Pilgrim (The Barrow Group), Blood Drive: A Musical Triptych by Sheinkin/Derfner (workshop at the O'Neill Theater Center) and Amahl and the Night Visitors (national tour directed by David Aiken). Ray has been seen behind the piano in The Storefront Theatre's New Mondays (with Bill Russell and Emily Skinner), No Reservations (starring Brandon Cutrell with special guests Karen Mason and Shoshana Bean), Broadway Downtown (with Kristy Cates) and We Miss Nancy: The Storefront Sings Lamott (with Liz McCartney). He has also served as accompanist for Utah Festival Opera Company, The Opera Company of Brooklyn , Mid America Productions at Carnegie Hall (with John Rutter) and A Yuletide Celebration with the Indianapolis Symphony starring Judy Kaye. As a singer, Ray has sung with some of the finest opera companies in the country, including Florida Grand, Glimmerglass and New Orleans operas. Ray holds degrees in piano and voice from the Indiana University School of Music.
