The League of Professional Theatre Women will present its Short Play Festival, written and directed by members of The League, on Monday, November 21st at 7pm at the Goldman-Sonnenfeldt Auditorium at The JCC (334 Amsterdam Ave. at 76th Street).

The evening, produced by Joan D. Firestone and Pam Koslow, will feature Carlin Glynn (The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas), Tony Award-nominee Sally Mayes (Urban Cowboy, She Loves Me), Maryann Plunkett (Me and My Girl, Sunday in the Park with George), Linda Powell (On Golden Pond, Wilder, Wilder, Wilder). The show will feature lighting design by   Natasha Katz.

The featured one-acts are Odysseus Never Returned by Zdenka Becker, What Goes Around by Sheilah Rae and Michele Brourman, Jesse by P.J. Gibson, 63 Years by Deborah Zoe Lauferby, The River Jordan Lamp by Carol Hall, Vanity of the Vanities by Joan Vail Thorne, Blood Cord by Lee Hunkins, and Just Dessert by Deborah Savadge.

The Short Play Festival is a benefit for the League's Education & Professional Programs.
