Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio have also turned their cult classic film BUBBLE BOY into a musical which will be in concert at Feinstein's/54 Below on November 9 starring Matt Doyle and Alice Ripley.

BUBBLE BOY, based on the 2001 cult comedy starring Jake Gyllenhaal, is by Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio, the writing team behind Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2, The Lorax, and The Secret Life of Pets. Come see an all-star Broadway cast perform all the songs from this exciting new show. Bubble Boy tells the story of Jimmy Livingston, born without immunities and confined inside a plastic bubble room. When the love of his life leaves town to get married, Jimmy travels cross-country in a homemade bubble suit in order to stop the wedding and finally tell her how he feels. Along the laugh-filled journey he deals with a crazy cult, a biker gang, a dead cow, and a controlling mother who will stop at nothing to get him back in the bubble.

Bubble Boy will feature A.J. Holmes as Jimmy, Alice Ripley as Mrs. Livingston, Richard Kind as Mr. Livingston, Caroline Bowman as Chloe, Matt Doyle as Mark, Kirsten Scott as Lorraine
Nehal Joshi as Pushpahp, Martin Sola as Slim, Gerard Canonico as Shawn/Todd/Sheriff, Alex Chester as Ensemble and Anita Welch as Ensemble.

Cinco and Ken are the writing team behind some of today's most well-received family films, which have earned over $1 billion at the worldwide box-office. Most recently, the duo co-wrote the hit summer film THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS. Next year, Cinco and Ken will see the release of DESPICABLE ME 3, their third installment in the DESPICABLE ME franchise. The film, which continues to be centered in the world of super-villain turned superhero dad 'Gru' voiced by Steve Carell, is set to be released in June by Universal Pictures. Other credits for Cinco and Ken include two highly successful screenplays based on the beloved Dr. Seuss' children's books, THE LORAX and HORTON HEARS A WHO!; COLLEGE ROAD TRIP, THE Santa ClausE 2 and BUBBLE BOY.
