According to Deadline, Mary-Louise Parker, who plays Nancy Botwin on the hit Showtime series Weeds, will author what Scribner calls "an autobiographical literary work of nonfiction" titled "Dear Mr. You" to be released in the fall of 2015.

Dear Mr. You "will uniquely relate Mary-Louise Parker's experiences and perceptions through a series of letters to the significant men in her life," according to the statement from Scribner.

"From Frank McCourt to Jeannette Walls to Anjelica Huston, Scribner loves a great memoirist, and Mary-Louise Parker is one," said Nan Graham, Senior Vice President and Publisher of Scribner. "Her writing is magnificent; the conceit - a memoir in letters to men - is wholly original and brilliantly executed."

Colin Harrison acquired North American and audio rights for the memoir from Eric Simonoff of William Morris Endeavor.

Mary Louise Parker is best known for her portrayal of Nancy Botwin in Showtime's series Weeds, for which she won a Golden Globe Award. She earned a Tony Award for her role in the drama Proof (2011) and a Golden Globe and Emmy for the HBO adaptation of Angels In America, and recently appeared in The Snow Geese (2013) on Broadway opposite Danny Burstein.
