Marian Seldes and Frances Sternhagen will join together for a special reading of Al Meglin's play "Two Sisters Sitting On a Bench, Resting from All the Excitement" which will be a benefit for Stageplays Theatre Company on Monday evening, January 11th at the National Arts Club (15 Gramercy Park South (20th Street).

The reading will begin at 7 PM. The event celebrates the publication of Testosterone & Other Plays, Volume 2, by Albert Meglin and includes a book signing with the author followed by a cocktail reception. Two Sisters will be preceded by a reading of Miss Monroe Explains , a dramatic monologue, featuring Annie Kozuch. Tom Ferriter, Artistic Director of Stageplays is producing and directing the evening.

Stageplays Theatre Company was formed in 1992 to develop and produce new plays and musicals for the American theatre which addresses the issues of our times. Since its founding, Stageplays has produced 8 new plays and 1 new musical in world premiere productions off Broadway and held more than 300 play readings involving over 185 playwrights, composers and lyricists. Testosterone & Other Plays, Volume 2, by Albert Meglin is the fifth book of new plays published by the theatre company during the past four years.
