Following the tragic passing of actor and comedy legend Robin Williams on Monday, August 11, New York City gallerist The Margo Feiden Galleries Ltd. has found a unique way to honor the Mork & Mindy and Good Will Hunting actor: Through a rare audio recording featuring a string of the late comedian's trademark impersonations.

Titled "Birthday Wishes," the audio clip was recorded in 2002 to celebrate the 99th birthday of America's most famous artist, Al Hirschfeld, and many of the actors Hirschfeld drew over the years. Impersonating stars like Marlon Brando, Bob Hope, Georgie Jessel, and Ethel Merman, among others, the audio recording features Williams's impressions of these famous voices as they wish Hirschfeld a happy 99th birthday. Other notable stars -- including Whoopi Goldberg, Sarah Jessica Parker, Larry King, Mary Louise Parker, and Tommy Tune -- have also recorded birthday wishes for Hirschfeld in years past.

For decades, Margo Feiden has been the exclusive gallerist representing the late, great Hirschfeld, which she displays at The Margo Feiden Galleries Ltd. in her Greenwich Village townhouse. Over the years, Feiden became close friends with Williams -- a long-time client, Hirschfeld collector, and fan -- as the artist drew many sketches of Williams's characters throughout his career.

The "Birthday Wishes" clip can be found on AlHirschfeld.com. The recording is one of Williams' best ever and will forever remain a funny way to celebrate his unparalleled comedic talents following his tragic and untimely death.
