Former Motown The Musical cast member Julius Thomas III has garnered a nomination for the Annual NAACP Theatre Awards. Thomas was nominated for his critically acclaimed performance of the music mogul, turned broadway show creaton Berry Gordy. The ceremony will take place in Los Angeles, Ca, on Nov 21.

Thomas III's credits include both the most recent revival of Motown The musical, and the Original production and cast. The Gershwin's Porgy And Bess, and The Scottsboro Boys, on Broadway. Broadway tours include: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Xanadu, Shrek the Musical, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Motown The Musical.
