The Theater at Madison Square Garden will present Tyler Perry's "Madea Gets a Job" starring Tyler Perry live on-stage on Friday, November 16 at 8PM and Saturday, November 17 at 1PM, 5PM and 9PM. This show is in response to the overwhelming demand for Tyler Perry's return to the stage, following a successful first season run.

In this performance, hard times (and the judge) caught up with Madea and she is forced to come out of retirement to go to work. Still on probation, Madea is not a star candidate for employment, no way, no how but she has to fulfill her community service obligations. In Tyler Perry's "Madea Gets a Job", Madea's unconventional job in a "nursing home" highlights an inevitable situation we must face – getting old.  You will find that nursing homes can put a strain on family relationships and discover the hardships some families encounter when making that most important decision for our loved ones.  Madea, full of pure wit and wholesome wisdom brings out the best of a situation. She will always tell you the truth whether you like it or not.  With so many twists and turns, you will never figure out the surprise ending.  Be prepared to hurt yourself laughing.

This production reaches the pinnacle of sheer entertainment. The show is exhilarating and indescribable with a very high-spirited and uplifting performance from a collection of talented and exceptionally seasoned cast.   For more information, visit www.tylerperry.com.
