Listen to 'Cabaret' and 'Big Spender' from the Premiere of FOSSE/VERDON

Atlantic Records has announced plans for a musical companion soundtrack tied to Fosse/Verdon, FX's much anticipated new limited series from the producers of Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen and The Americans.

Each Tuesday, beginning with last night's series premiere, original cast recordings of the tracks featured in that evening's episode of Fosse/Verdon will be released at all DSPs and streaming services. The weekly releases will culminate with a full album, "The Music of Fosse/Verdon - Original Series Soundtrack," collecting all tracks released over the course of the eight-part series. Fosse/Verdon airs Tuesdays at 10 pm ET/PT on FX through May 28 (check local listings).

The first musical release from Fosse/Verdon includes three new tracks including Cy Coleman & Dorothy Fields' "Big Spender" (from Sweet Charity) performed by the cast of Fosse/Verdon featuring Bianca Marroquin (who co-stars in the series as Chita Rivera), Fred Ebb & John Kander's "Cabaret" (from Cabaret) performed by the cast featuring Kelli Barrett (co-starring as Liza Minnelli), and the "Fosse/Verdon Theme," composed by the series' supervising music producer, multiple Tony and GRAMMY® Award-winner Alex Lacamoire (Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, In The Heights).

All three tracks are available to listen to below!

Spanning five decades, Fosse/Verdon explores the singular romantic and creative partnership between legendary choreographer, director, and filmmaker Bob Fosse (Academy Award-winner Sam Rockwell) and Broadway's most celebrated dancer Gwen Verdon (4x Academy Award nominee Michelle Williams). "The Music of Fosse/Verdon - Original Series Soundtrack" will feature all new cast recordings from the series, spanning a stunning range of American musical classics from such milestone works as Damn Yankees, Sweet Charity, Cabaret, Pippin, Chicago, and more. The soundtrack lovingly honors these landmark songs' original versions. Carefully curated, expertly crafted, and dramatically performed, "The Music of Fosse/Verdon" serves as a remarkable tribute to Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon's Signature Sound, timeless style, and undeniable legacy.

The Fosse/Verdon musical releases are produced by GRAMMY® Award winning (five-time nominee) Atlantic Records West Coast President Kevin Weaver (Greatest Showman, Furious 7, Suicide Squad, The Fault in Our Stars, The Fate of the Furious) and Atlantic Records President, A&R Pete Ganbarg (Hamilton Original Broadway Cast Recording, Dear Evan Hansen Original Broadway Cast Recording, Twenty One Pilots), alongside the series' supervising music producer, multiple Tony and GRAMMY® Award-winner Alex Lacamoire (Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, In The Heights) as well as the series' music supervisor, GRAMMY® Award-winning Steve Gizicki (La La Land, Teen Spirit).

Thomas Kail (Hamilton, In The Heights), Steven Levenson (Dear Evan Hansen), Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton, In The Heights), Joel Fields (The Americans), Sam Rockwell, Michelle Williams, and George Stelzner are Executive Producers of the limited series that is produced by FOX 21 Television Studios and FX Productions. Levenson and Kail together wrote the story for the premiere episode, Levenson wrote the teleplay, and the episode was directed by Kail. Actress, dancer and producer Nicole Fosse, and daughter of Fosse and Verdon, serves as Creative Consultant and Co-Executive Producer, and oversees The Verdon Fosse Legacy. Co-Producer Andy Blankenbuehler is serving as a Choreographer, as is Susan Misner. Erica Kay serves as Producer.
